A lot has happen recently at Visionary Girls Ministry Uganda we may not be able to document it in one writing, but we recently had a very beautiful moment at Nalango Primary School. The team went to give out sanitary towels to the school girls, what we saw touched our hearts deeply and left us almost speechless.
We came learn how many girls in rural areas are forced to leave school, not because they don’t want to study, but simply because they cannot afford sanitary pads. Imagine a child missing out on her future just because of something so small yet so important. One teacher told us that menstruation should never be the reason a child is denied education. And she was right—providing access to pads is not just about hygiene, it is about investing in girls’ futures.

When we gave out the pads at Nalango Primary School, you could see the joy and relief in the eyes of the girls. They felt seen, supported, and cared for. It was a reminder that sometimes, the smallest things can make the biggest difference.
This is part of our campaign to distribute one million sanitary pads to schools across Uganda. We believe every pad given is a step closer to keeping a girl in class, keeping her dreams alive, and shaping a better tomorrow.
We are so thankful to everyone who has already partnered with us. Without you, this would not be possible. But there is still so much work to do, and we cannot do it alone.
We invite you to join us in this mission. Be part of this story. Together, we can make sure no girl misses school because of her period. Together, we can change lives.
